Choosing our locations to film
This post will explain where we choose to film and why it is we picked these specific places.
The locations that films are shot in are quite vital for the setting and atmosphere. Without the proper place to film, the movie might not make much sense given the context of the location. For our film, the locations we filmed in were carefully chosen so that the film as a whole felt cohesive and made sense given the nature of the film.
I picked the office building that appears in the first scene of the film because it was a location that would seem appropriate for our main character to be working in and it was very close for my group to head to. It is not a very outstanding building; it is quite boring, which suits the main character well since he himself is very bored and dissatisfied with his current state of affairs. The parking lot next to the building also suited our needs since it was very empty, leaving lots of space for us to film and position our cars perfectly.
