Color Use in our film

 In this post, I will be describing the use of color in our film and what these colors mean.

    Throughout the majority of our film, the color that is used most predominantly is black. The film is shot at night in order to build a sense of anxienty and mystery. We make use of the nighttime in order to shroud the identity and intentions of the secondary character as much as we can. The use of black also provides a serious tone to the film, which is later broken at the end of the film.

    Moving along, II will explain what the colors in the costumes mean for the film. The main character is dressed in black and white, signifying that he is serious and professional. What these colors could also mean is that he is quite bland and drab, lacking variety and life. He doesn't try to stand out or differentiate himself from the background environment all that much. Similar to the main character, the secondary character dresses in black, but how he differs is that he is completely clothed in black. The reason for this is obviously to remain as hidden as possible from the main character, but what it provides to the film is a sense of mystery and dread that looms over the audience as they try to figure out what is really going on.
