Time Management and Scheduling
This post will highlight the process in which our group manage to deal with the amount of time we were given to complete our project and the difficulties we faced when doing so.
Before we actually started to film for our project, it took my group a little while to schedule exactly when it was that we would come together to film. All of us have jobs and other schoolwork that we were also focusing on at the time so it wasn't until a week or two after the project was initially assigned that we actually get serious about coming together and filming. After the first day of filming, we decided that the footage that we had gotten for the first half of our film was sufficient enough to the point where we didn't need reshooting. A few more weeks had passed and the deadline for the film was nearing. Once again it was time for us to get serious again and film. Over our school's spring break, we finally got together to film the last part of our film and finally, we had completed the film itself.
I really do wish that our group had spent our time more wisely as I think we could have definitely enhanced our film even further, despite this being the first time any of us had been making a film. Now after having finished the film, I have come to realize just how important scheduling is and how serious it should be taken. It was sort of a challenge for us to come together, given how busy we are outside of school.
